Marketing Assistant

£18,000 - £24,000 depending on experience

An exciting new role has become available due to growth of the business and plans to continue that growth. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can develop this role into one that becomes a key player in the businesses growth strategy.

Marketing Assistant main duties

  • Providing support to the management team to deliver an annual marketing plan
  • Management of the Company website: writing and uploading case studies, relevant news items and utilising search engine optimisation
  • Assisting with preparation and production of presentation and marketing materials
  • Obtain testimonials and obtain information for case studies for completed projects
  • Manage social media activities
  • Maintain contacts database
  • Producing and analysing Google Analytics reports
  • Identify suitable industry awards and assist with entry
  • Assisting with lead generation
  • Working within marketing budget and guidelines
  • Managing an archive of marketing material
  • Organising events, webinars, workshops and training as required
  • Collate information for email newsletters
  • Identify PR opportunities
  • Office Administration support including travel bookings, organisation and general admin tasks

Marketing Assistant required skills

  • Understanding of B2B marketing
  • Understanding of content driven and digital marketing
  • Strong organisational, presentation and customer service skills
  • Excellent written English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Flexibility
  • Creativity
  • Ability to co-ordinate, negotiate and collaborate with colleagues
  • Proactive and able to use own initiative

Marketing Assistant required experience / qualifications

  • A degree in marketing or related discipline would be seen as advantageous
  • Experience of:
  • Microsoft Office 2010-2016 (Work, Excel, PPT etc.)
  • WordPress or similar
  • Mailchimp or similar
  • Hubspot or similar
  • Google Analytics
