At EECO2, sustainability has always been about more than helping clients reduce energy, carbon and operational impact. 

It’s also about how we operate as a business ourselves. 

We’re proud to have achieved EcoVadis Silver Recognition, improving on our previous result and reflecting the progress we’ve made across a range of areas including sustainability, ethics, governance and responsible business practices. 

While recognition like this is always welcome, we see it as something more meaningful than a score. 

It provides an independent assessment of how we are performing as an organisation and offers an opportunity to reflect on the progress we’ve made while continuing to identify areas where we can improve. 

Practising What We Promote 

Every day, we work with pharmaceutical and life sciences organisations to help them identify opportunities, establish baselines, measure performance and deliver meaningful improvements. 

We believe the same principles should apply to our own business. 

If we encourage clients to set targets, measure progress and continually improve, then we should be doing exactly the same ourselves. 

Our EcoVadis Silver Recognition reflects that mindset. 

Part of a Wider Commitment 

This achievement forms part of a broader sustainability journey for EECO2. 

It also builds on the commitments we’ve already made as a business, including becoming a Certified B Corporation and setting Science Based Targets through the SBTi. Together, these frameworks help keep sustainability, accountability and responsible business practices at the heart of how we operate.

For us, sustainability is not something separate from the business. 

It’s part of how we make decisions, engage with clients, support our people and shape our future. 

Continuous Improvement 

One thing we’ve learned through years of supporting improvement programmes is that meaningful progress rarely comes from a single milestone. 

It comes from measuring performance, challenging assumptions, learning from experience and continually looking for ways to improve. 

That’s exactly how we view our own journey. 

We’re proud of the progress recognised through EcoVadis Silver, grateful to everyone across the EECO2 team who has contributed to it, and motivated by what comes next. 

Because recognition is important. 

But continuous improvement matters even more.
