The Life Sciences Saver has been specifically designed to help companies in the Life Sciences industry gain visibility into the energy, carbon and cost savings their sites could make through energy-efficiency projects.
The algorithm is developed using industry-leading data collected from projects undertaken by EECO2 since 2017. In 2020, these savings totalled 300GWH energy savings, $21 million cost savings and 90,000 tCO2 savings.
If you would like to gain an insight into the possible annual savings you could make, complete the form below and receive your results via email.
EECO2 were commissioned to examine, quantify and report on the opportunities for energy and water usage reduction at a UK vaccine manufacturing facility. Key objectives included identifying and prioritising ‘quick win’ improvements that could be implemented immediately.
EECO2 was to provide the client with principle consultancy expertise to support an Energy Assessment with their GMS manufacturing chain. Along with the site team and the energy assessment team, EECO2 performed an energy assessment on the client site in Japan – focusing on HVAC improvements.
This was a pharmaceutical energy reduction assessment workshop including HVAC energy assessment and major capital project review. The client site facility mostly manufactures and packs non-sterile consumer healthcare products.
After a successful trial in Sydney, Australia, our client went on to introduce a corporate carbon reduction programme, to be rolled out globally. EECO2 worked with a further 10 of the client’s key sites, in the United States (6 sites), China (2 sites), Japan, UK and Australia.
EECO2 was appointed to carry out a pharmaceutical energy reduction assessment workshop, which included a HVAC energy assessment and major capital project review.
EECO2 facilitated an on-site energy reduction event for a Global pharmaceutical manufacturer client, working together with the client engineering team and other stakeholders. The energy reduction workshop is a proven process that guides the site team to identify and prioritise significant energy and carbon reduction projects that are accepted and can be implemented.
The Life Sciences Saver uses a site’s annual energy and cost data alongside industry-leading data from EECO2 projects to calculate the potential energy, carbon and cost savings.
The EECO2 projects were completed in multiple countries across the globe for some of the leading companies in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. The assessments included full energy kaizens and HVAC assessments, with both on-site and virtual desktop assessments.
During the testing period, we calculated that 75% of the savings results will be +/- 10% of the actual savings result achievable.
To receive a more accurate savings result, a bespoke proposal and energy assessment is required. To find out more, get in touch.
