Objectives: The primary objective of this role is to support EECO2 clients with energy management expertise, creating valuable solutions and delivering first class customer service. The role is a integral part of the eeco2 team and will provide support for our clients across a range of utility systems: • Chilled water and refrigeration • Steam generation and distribution • LPHW heating • Compressed air • Lighting • BMS control systems • Water & Waste Water Treatment
The post-holder will have a background in utilities engineering and or energy management and may already be a consultant looking to expand their influence and to work globally with some of the worlds best known brands. Alternatively they may be an experienced utilities/mechanical engineer looking for more varied and challenging role. Experience in pharmaceutical or process plant engineering would be a bonus. The role is varied and interesting, working within a team of highly competent people who are experts in their field.
The role: • Provide technical expertise and support to clients in helping them identify significant and cost effective energy & carbon reduction opportunities in the utility systems listed above. • Contribute effectively to developing client strategies for low/zero carbon solutions on a global basis. • Ability to assess existing installations and to identify, quantify and recommend energy reduction measures. • Confidently facilitate energy workshops on behalf of the Company following the eeco2 defined process. • Continue to develop tools and methods for continuously improving outcomes and results for clients. • Communicate effectively with clients and other engineers to ensure maximum efficiency and customer service from start to finish (face to face and remote) • Prepare technical proposals for new projects including costings. • Support the development of EECO2 MEMU and associated bureau/analytics services. • Support the Sales function to develop additional business opportunities with new and existing clients.
Other opportunities: • Carry out HVAC energy calculations for new and existing systems • Prepare presentations, charts, tables as necessary to enable project reporting
Required Qualifications / Experience • Bachelors / Masters Engineering Degree • Significant industry experience demonstrating a broad understanding of industrial utility systems and energy management. • Experience of developing and presenting energy reduction recommendations and developing the supporting business cases. • Evidence of recent / relevant CPD
Desired experience: • Chartered or Professional Engineer status (or working towards it) • Energy Manager accreditation / certification (or working towards it) • Experience of pharmaceutical manufacturing process industry and/or laboratories.
