NEW EECO2 TEAM MEMBERS

MEET OUR NEW EECO2 TEAM MEMBERS

Posted on

The EECO2 team is expanding faster than ever, with many new team members this year. We pride ourselves on having a diverse and experienced team, whilst investing in the future with our first university industrial placement student. Meet our new EECO2 team members:

Amaad Ahmed – Senior Energy Manager

Amaad joined EECO2 in June 2020, coming from his own consultancy company. Amaad is our new senior energy manager, with over 6 years of experience in the sector. Learning more about the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector and helping evolve the industry was one of the key reasons Amaad wanted to join EECO2. Amaad is married with two children, and is a keen sports fan, following cricket and Arsenal FC.
LinkedIn

Craig Bullock – Project Manager

Craig’s career has given him copious experience in various companies across the UK and further afield. With 40 years of experience in project management in the building services sector, within the food and beverage, hospital and operating theatre, and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries. Craig was the perfect candidate to manage one of our major projects – a large cleanroom build for a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Cambridge.
LinkedIn

Nick Kibler – Senior HVAC Engineer

Nick has worked in the building services industry for 35 years and has experience in a broad range of projects and industries, including nuclear, commercial, schools, hospitals, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Nick is a big football fan – supporting one of the big Manchester clubs… we will let you guess which!

Tom Nutley – Global Key Account Manager

Tom joins ECCO2 in October. With over five years of experience providing AI sustainability solutions to the global mobility sector, the opportunity to provide solutions to achieve carbon neutrality within the pharmaceutical and biomedical industries was one that Tom could not turn down. Tom is a former professional rugby player, avid fitness enthusiast, adventurer and gamer who enjoys spending his free time in the great outdoors with his wife Danielle and dog, Dexter.
LinkedIn

Alberto Diaz – Project Engineer

Alberto started working for EECO2 remotely from Spain during lockdown, getting to know the team via video calls. He decided to join EECO2 to follow his chosen career path as an international engineer, working in the pharmaceutical and energy sector. In his new role as a project manager, Alberto is involved in organising the live projects, ensuring they stay on schedule. Alberto is a qualified mechanical engineer, with a master’s degree in project management from Coventry University and is accredited as a consultant through CMI. He has also worked in a nanotechnology laboratory, which resulted in a publication in the Spanish Society of Materials. Alberto has a joyful personality which helps keep spirits high in the office.
LinkedIn

Liam Featherston – Industrial Placement Student

Currently studying at Newcastle University, Liam has decided to take a year out for an industrial placement. He will gain experience in different departments of EECO2, and learn how they interact and connect with each other.

I wanted to get a placement at EECO2 as it will allow me to fully immerse myself in each department. In my first two months, I have enjoyed developing relationships with the team and contributing to current projects. One of my favourite things about EECO2 is being able to gain experience in real world situations, while knowing I am part of a company that is contributing to save our environment”.
LinkedIn

Oliver Meads – Revit Design Technician

Oliver recently joined EECO2 as a design technician and is currently studying a master’s degree in architecture at Manchester University. He has a creative eye and will be using that skill to design our new meeting room in the Head Office. One of the main reasons Oliver joined us is to get different perspectives of architecture, and to learn new design program’s such as Revit. As well as designing a new office, Oliver will be developing his skills in architectural visualisation, schematics and the program autoCAD.
LinkedIn

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Posted on

Given the emerging risk of Coronavirus, we thought it would be prudent to inform our customers, partners and suppliers of the steps EECO2 is taking to mitigate the risk of this fast-changing pandemic. Up to now, it is unclear how the situation will develop, but we are taking this issue very seriously.

EECO2 has developed tools and methods of working remotely with clients to deliver our services. This is aligned with our policy of minimising travel and our impact on the environment from EECO2 business activity, and under these circumstances it is an incredibly useful tool.

In the light of the Coronavirus situation we are:
• Following government and WHO advice for hygiene standards around the workplace and at home
• Accelerating our development of remote working tools to deliver additional value to clients
• Ensuring staff have the tools to work and collaborate remotely when needed (e.g. for self-isolation)
• Evaluating technology enhancements to facilitate remote site surveys
• Training staff on video conferencing and collaboration tools to be more effective
• Reviewing travel risks and keeping our staff safe

We understand that many of our clients are taking a cautious approach and limiting travel. Any project may be affected by this situation will be reviewed on a case by case basis and in line with customer policies.

We will keep in contact with our customers, partners and suppliers, and continually review the situation to ensure we deliver on our commitments during this period.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

EECO2 – A GLOBAL TEAM

Posted on

As a global organisation with clients all over the world, there are times when the EECO2 team is spread right across the globe. Supporting customers from one continent to the next; separated by oceans, but maintaining the high level of customer service and great quality engineered projects across-the-board.

This week, the EECO2 team is in Ireland, performing an energy and water event; developing energy and water saving projects for a top 10 global pharma client. Meanwhile, another project team is in Croatia performing a HVAC assessment on a client site. Then there are those working in the UK, visiting customers not too far from our head office in Cheshire…

Last week, Keith Beattie (Director, EECO2) was in the USA speaking at an ISPE event (see more about that here), while the engineering team were in Spain performing an energy assessment. The client site that was established around 1975 and concentrates on tablet manufacturing, showed lots of examples of good practice and had a great and accommodating site team, which really helped the EECO2 team coordinate a successful event.

When the EECO2 team is travelling, further emphasis is placed on communication to maintain strong connections between the team. This ensures that nothing is missed, projects are controlled and managed smoothly and the close relationship within the organisation remains as strong as ever.

If you have a project you would like to talk to EECO2 about, contact us today. Or follow us on LinkedIn and Twitter to see where we go next.

WHY WE ASK FOR CUSTOMER FEEDBACK

Posted on

At EECO2, we know the importance of our customer. We pride ourselves on our customer service and make it our mission to ensure our customers have a positive experience when working with our team. So, why do we ask for feedback?

TO LEARN

As a consultancy, we create bespoke solutions for our customers. We follow internal processes, but constantly adapt our behaviours and ways of working to improve our customer experience. For example, we are able to learn the frequency of communication a client prefers, how involved they would like to be at each stage and what channel of communication suits them best. Although these three examples are practical and somewhat easy instructions to follow, by paying attention to small details, it can greatly improve the customer’s experience.

TO ENSURE OUR CUSTOMERS KNOW WE CARE

By asking customers to provide feedback, we are communicating that we value their opinion and that we care about what they have to say about their experience with us. EECO2 puts a lot of emphasis on what customers prefer, and like to involve them in shaping the services we provide.

TO CONSTANTLY IMPROVE

As a team we focus on continuous improvement. Whether that is in an effort to refine products, services or even internal processes… we are always looking for ways to improve. By consistently listening and seeking feedback, we are looking for what is working for our customers and what is not. By doing this it will help us grow as a team and lead to an even better customer experience.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY…
