MEMU INSTALLED IN IRELAND

Posted on

Another MEMU has been installed in a client site in Ireland. The equipment has been shipped to the pharmaceutical manufacturing site and installed, to prove energy savings of some new energy efficient filters. The MEMU will be installed before the project begins, as to record the ‘before’ energy consumption rates. The new filters will then be fitted in the AHUs, aiming to reduce energy consumption of the site. After the instillation has taken place, the MEMU will then record the granular results of energy consumption and will compare the results; proving to the client (and the filter manufacturer) just how effective the project has been, how much energy, carbon and cost they will save and how energy efficient the new filters actually are.

The MEMU® is an independent metering, monitoring and targeting system (MM&T). It is simple to install utilising wireless communication between sensors and can be tailored to meet a client’s specific requirements. It can be used to prove energy savings before and after a project. Data is transmitted via GSM technology to a bureau hosted by EECO2. This allows you to view dashboards and access monthly reports.

MEMU Case Studies can be found here.

MEMU PRESENTATION TO CAMFIL IN DUBLIN

Posted on

Last week, the EECO2 team met with Camfil’s MD and the regional sales reps at the Camfil headquarters in Dublin, to present EECO2’s energy monitoring system; The MEMU.

EECO2’s Energy and Products Division Engineering Manager, Andrew Butterworth, presented the benefits of the MEMU, detailing how the technology works and how the Camfil sales team would be able to use the system in order to showcase their products.

The presentation was well received, and the group were interested to learn about how the MEMU could be used to prove their products – in particular, showing how energy efficient a new Camfil filter would be in comparison to what a competitor is offering.

Having this technology on their side, the company will be able to stand out (further) from their competition, with this unique selling point; proving the benefits in energy efficiency and cost.

Both EECO2 and Camfil are excited to see where this future collaboration will lead.

SUCCESSFUL INSTALLATION OF MEMU ON CLIENT SITE IN POLAND

Posted on

This week the EECO2 team has successfully installed a new MEMU on a client site in Poland. The team is now receiving data in our head office in the UK from the oral solid manufacturing site. The data will be analysed to produce energy consumption information that can be normalised against local temperatures, production and occupation and will help our team to identify the site’s largest energy consuming equipment. The reports and data will be analysed for any inefficiencies within the HVAC system, which will then lead to further energy saving opportunities and projects.

If you are interested in what a MEMU could do for your site, or if you would like to visit our head office for a demonstration get in touch with our team today.

For more information on the MEMU and its uses, visit the MEMU page. This page includes case studies of the MEMU as well as an explanation of how it works and what the dashboard portal looks like.
