PROJECT BRIEF

EECO2 was tasked to reduce energy demand at the client site, without compromising on compliance or laboratory safety.
The client site had very high energy demands, driven by original HVAC design and layout with high air change rates and fresh air volumes.

METHODOLOGY

EECO2 supported with a HVAC design review, defined project scope, managed local contractors.

EECO2 carried out the smoke visualisation trials and recommended a reduced fume cupboard capture face velocity, to deliver 20% energy savings.

The client then used this data to develop strategy for further improvement work.
