EECO2 were tasked to reduce energy demand at the client site, without compromising on compliance or laboratory safety.

METHODOLOGY

EECO2 supported with a HVAC design review, defined project scope, managed local contractors.

EECO2 carried out the smoke visualisation trials and recommended a reduced fume cupboard capture face velocity, to deliver 20% energy savings.

The client then used this data to develop strategy for further improvement work.

Improve plant operational maintenance

Optimise BMS system

Recommended upgrading laboratory fume cupboards to VAV
